  6. This is a generic keyfile generated by Jonathan Forbes, the author/developer
  7. of LZX for the Amiga in response to numerous requests from the Amiga
  8. community. This keyfile will enable all registered features of the
  9. current release of LZX.
  10.  
  11. The release of this keyfile is to be considered a gift from Jonathan to
  12. the Amiga community (ie FREEWARE), and in no way is to imply that
  13. he is considering restarting development for the Amiga.
  14.  
  15. As some of you may or not know, there was a thread on C.S.A.* regarding
  16. the usage of LZX. As a result of that thread, I volunteered to contact
  17. the author of LZX, Jonathan Forbes, on behalf of the Amiga community,
  18. to ask that he release a generic keyfile, as he was no longer accepting
  19. shareware registrations for LZX, nor was he developing on the Amiga
  20. any longer.

  22. To make a long story short, Mr. Forbes has graciously agreed to boot
  23. up his Amiga one last time and create a generic keyfile, to be released
  24. as FREEWARE, to the Amiga community. This keyfile should activate all
  25. functions previously reserved to the registered version.

  27. Here is what you need to do:

  29. download LZX121R.lha from UTIL/ARC on Aminet.
  30. unpack and install LZX121R.lha
  31. copy LZX.KEYFILE to L:
  32.
